- Fortescue’s Eliwana mine is located on the traditional lands of the Puutu Kunti Kurrama people.
Roster: 8D/6R/7N/7R – (Day/Night) FIFO ex Perth
The Autonomous Infield Builder is a site-based role responsible for the effective utilization of Autonomous Fleet Management System. This team will support a dynamic and collaborative work relationship between Hive (Control Room team) and Mining Road Train Haulage fleet using Fortescue’s new Fleet Management System - Genesys.
Key responsibilities include:
- Effectively manage a fleet of road trains and deliver on key dispatching metrics, as well as ensuring maximum utilization of machines to drive safety, productivity, and costs.
- Execute and manage fleet to achieve 24hr plan.
- Communicate effectively with Mining Supervisors/ Coordinators and Control Team
- Build virtual mine model ensuring actual matches virtual.
- Responsible for mine model optimization to achieve the highest throughput in dynamic areas.
- Plan and manage all dynamic areas in conjunction with the two-week plan.
- Management of all virtual zones
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current Multi Combination license (MC) preferred. HR as Minimum - essential
- Previous experience working in the mining or heavy industry
- High regard for safety
- Good Computer Literacy skills
- Demonstrated abilility to manage competing priorities
- A demonstrated proficiency of Fleet Management Systems (MineStar/Gensys) is desirable
- Passion for technology and learning new systems
