Skillset

• Lead a team of Service Crew workers through their day to day operations;
• Provide a high level of experience and knowledge in training less skilled staff;
• Extend ventilation services to areas where needed, which includes hanging ventilation bags and moving/installing secondary fans;
• Extend water, air and pump services to areas where needed;
• Move and install pumps to areas where needed;
• Maintain and repair services and equipment such as vent bags, poly pipe and valves;
• Hand installation and grouting of cable bolts;
• Installation of underground infrastructure;
• Construction of ventilation walls;
• Installation of remote operated equipment infrastructure;
• Assist other U/G departments as required

Key Requirements.

• Current & Valid Australian Drivers Licence;
• Rights to Work in Australia;
• Solid history of reliability and good work ethic;
• Experience in underground service crew/paste crew work;
• Experience in a Leading Hand is highly regarded
• Trade Qualification for Special Projects work will be highly regarded
• A proactive attitude toward safety and hazard identification.
