About the Role
This role is a key operational role within our Drill and Blast team at Tarrawonga. Working in an operational capacity you will work as part of the team with a strong focus on safety.
What You’ll Do
- Assisting shotfirers, drillers and MMU Operators as required
- Assist with the 'hands-on' delivery of explosive products down pre-drilled blast holes on bench.
- Working in tight unison with your teammates to provide excellence in service to our valued customers.
- Demonstrating and setting the example of our key company value's
What You’ll Bring
- Drill and Blast knowledge and experience is preferred or a keen interest to progress your career in this direction
- Ability to pass all required security checks in which to obtain a Dangerous Goods
- An excellent, positive and team-based attitude where you look out for your mates;
- A basic mechanical comprehension is advantageous, but not essential.
- Must be willing to complete Surface shot firer competency
