BHP Operations Services is now offering paid travel from Cairns and Townsville.

We are now funding your travel from home in North Queensland to work at BHP in the Bowen Basin. We continue to listen to our employees to provide competitive employee benefits.   

About the role 

Over the upcoming months we will have permanent roles across our Production and Maintenance teams available Fly-in-Fly-Out from Cairns and Townsville to our Bowen Basin deployments (Saraji, Goonyella, Peak Downs Mines). The 7/7 roster is designed to balance your lifestyle. 

Some of the roles available include: 

  • Production: Truck, Grader, Dozer, Excavator, Multi-skilled Operators 
  • Maintenance: Heavy Diesel Fitters, Electricians, Auto-Electricians, HV Electricians  
  • Supervisors: Production, Maintenance

About You 

  • Currently living in Cairns and Townsville or on country near these locations 
  • Mining industry experience having worked in a similar role 
  • For trade specific roles; you must hold a relevant Australian equivalent trade certificate in mechanical, electrical, auto electrical or a similar trade
