Boilermaker

Force by Emeco Group, is a leader in mining & heavy earth moving equipment maintenance services for the mining industries. We are seeking an experienced Boilermaker to join our dynamic team in our Mackay Maintenance Rebuild facility. Reporting to the Workshop Manager, you will have the opportunity to work on heavy earth moving equipment and perform the following duties:

• Ongoing repairs and maintenance of a variety of mobile mining equipment
• Bucket repairs and general fabrication
• Tray work and wear packages
• Arc air gouging and welding flux core
• Ongoing maintenance and servicing of Emeco/client equipment and machines
• Ensuring all maintenance repairs are performed in accordance with company guidelines and within cost targets
• Providing support to the Emeco rental fleet as required
• Working with Emeco/Force customers to meet company objectives

We are looking for

• 2+ years Post-trade experience with heavy earth moving equipment; namely Caterpillar, Komatsu and Hitachi
• A strong commitment to safety, health and the environment
• Relevant nationally recognised trade qualification
• Hold a current Driver's License
• Working at Heights, Confined Spaces, Gantry Crane and High Risk Licenses highly regarded
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a solution focus
• A keen eye for detail, presentation and craftsmanship
