Key responsibilities include:
Reporting to the Workshop Manager, you will have the opportunity to work on heavy earth moving equipment and perform the following duties:
- Ongoing repairs and maintenance of a variety of mobile mining equipment
- Bucket repairs and general fabrication
- Tray work and wear packages
- Arc air gouging and welding flux core
- Ongoing maintenance and servicing of Emeco/client equipment and machines
- Ensuring all maintenance repairs are performed in accordance with company guidelines and within cost targets
- Providing support to the Emeco rental fleet as required
- Working with Emeco/Force customers to meet company objectives
Required skills / experience & attributes:
- 2+ years Post-trade experience with heavy earth moving equipment; namely Caterpillar, Komatsu and Hitachi
- A strong commitment to safety, health and the environment
- Relevant nationally recognised trade qualification
- Hold a current Driver's License
- Working at Heights, Confined Spaces, Gantry Crane and High Risk Licenses highly regarded
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a solution focus
- A keen eye for detail, presentation and craftsmanship
