Boilermaker Maintainer - Fixed Plant

The role

We are seeking a Boilermaker Maintainer to join our Robe Valley Operations team. You will be responsible for maintaining infrastructure through fabricating fixed plant equipment in the fixed plant team. This role is a great opportunity for a highly motivated individual with excellent fabrication and coded welding expertise to make a difference.

Reporting to the Plant Maintenance Supervisor, the role will require you to: 

• Carry out fabrication work while ensuring a high quality of finished product
• Maintaining Boiler Shop tools and equipment.
• Be able to read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine job requirements.
• Maintain a high level of safety awareness and comply with all RTIO Company Policies and procedures
• Actively contribute to continuous improvement projects – increasing safety whilst reducing risk and cost
• Utilise SAP to ensure that maintenance tasks are recorded, assigned correctly and completed to the relevant standard / specification
• Work cooperatively in a small team or individually while demonstrating flexibility and adaptation to business requirements

About you

The right candidate will ideally possess the following:

• An Australian Trade Qualification in Boilermaking/Welding/Fabrication
• 3+ years’ post trade experience in the mining industry
• A manual C-class Australian Drivers Licence (essential)
• Exposure to rebuilding and overhauling materials handling components including minerals processing
• A basic understanding of SAP maintenance systems or similar
• Previous CNC waterjet and plasma operation desirable
