About the role

We are looking for qualified Boilermaker to join our Mobile Equipment Maintenance team to perform planned preventative and breakdown maintenance across our extensive fleet of heavy mobile equipment at Mesa A (Pannawonica).

This is a great opportunity for a highly motivated trades person who is looking for a long-term career in mining.

Reporting to the Mobile Maintenance Supervisors and working in a challenging and exciting environment within the Mobile Maintenance Teams, you will be required to:

• Carrying out fabricating and welding repair maintenance activity on heavy moving mobile equipment
• Carrying out bucket inspections and creating detailed notifications to plan repairs
• Working towards increasing equipment reliability as well as availability
• Working effectively to maintenance schedule
• Utilising the SAP system to ensure that maintenance tasks and progress are continuously recorded
• Fostering a culture of zero harm and continuous improvement 

What you’ll bring

• A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team
• Respect for others and an all-inclusive mindset
• Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication or equivalent Boilermaker Trade Qualification.
• Experience working on open cut mobile equipment including Caterpillar, Komatsu and surface drill rigs
• Excellent diagnostic and fault-finding ability
• An Australian C class manual Drivers’ Licence
• High Risk Licences such as Forklift, EWP, Working at Heights
