About the Role
We are seeking a Boilermaker Welder / Fabricator to join our Tom Price Engineering Services Team. You will be responsible for maintaining infrastructure through fabricating fixed plant equipment in the fixed plant or shutdown team. This role is a great opportunity for a highly motivated individual with excellent fabrication and coded welding expertise to make a difference.
Reporting to the Supervisor Engineering Services, the role will require you to:
- Carry out fabrication work while ensuring a high quality of finished product
- Maintaining Boiler Shop tools and equipment
- Be able to read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine job requirements.
- Maintain a high level of safety awareness and comply with all RTIO Company Policies and procedures
- Actively contribute to continuous improvement projects – increasing safety whilst reducing risk and cost
- Utilise SAP to ensure that maintenance tasks are recorded, assigned correctly and completed to the relevant standard / specification
- Work cooperatively in a small team or individually while demonstrating flexibility and adaptation to business requirements
What you'll Bring
The right candidate will ideally possess the following:
- An Australian Trade Qualification in Boilermaking/Welding/Fabrication
- A manual C-Class Australian Drivers Licence
- Experience utilizing water jet cutting technology and proficiency in CAD drawing software will be highly favoured
- Commitment to Quality, Safety, and timeliness
- Expertise in Precision Fabrication
