Pit N Portal are currently seeking an experienced Boilermaker / Welder to join our talented maintenance team in our Maddington Workshop.

Key responsibilities include:

• Undertake all tasks in alignment to Pit n Portal’s Group Safety Management Plan and it’s principles
• Ensure Pit n Portal’s safety standards, policies and procedures are followed at all times
• Be customer focused prioritising on the required deliverables as an industry leading service provider
• Fabrication, repair and refurbishment of mobile plant mining equipment

Required skills / experience & attributes:

• Australian recognised Trade Certificate / Fabrication Trade
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Reliable and approachable, able to train apprentices
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug / alcohol test
• Acceptable NPC record
• Right to work in Australia
• Current WA Drivers Licence
• Forklift and dogging certification
• Eye for detail and quality with a strong safety focus
