Force is currently recruiting for Workshop Boilermakers to join our amazing Port Hedland team, working on a 2:1 day shift roster.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ongoing repairs and maintenance of a variety of mobile mining equipment
  • Bucket repairs and general fabrication
  • Field service experience
  • Tray work and wear packages
  • Large boom and stick rebuild.
  • Arc air gouging and welding flux core
  • Ensuring all maintenance repairs are performed in accordance with company guidelines and within cost targets; and
  • Field service work if required.

Required skills/experience & attributes:

  • A strong cultural commitment to safety
  • Applicants holding Nationally recognised Trade qualification.
  • Working at Heights, confined space and High-Risk Licenses highly regarded
  • A keen eye for detail, presentation and craftsmanship; and
  • The successful candidates will be required to pass a pre-employment medical including a drug and alcohol test.
