Business Analyst

Work Location: Perth - Fortescue’s Perth office is located on the traditional lands of the Whadjuk people.

Roster: Monday to Friday 

Reporting to the Delta Project Manager, this an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate to commence their career working on a large software modernisation program of work.

Specially, gaining experience and being mentored in the functions of stake holder engagement, user story generation, development backlog refinement, & change management.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Define configuration specifications and business analysis requirements
  • Perform quality assurance
  • Define reporting and alerting requirements
  • Develop relationship with partners, working with them to optimize and enhance our integration
  • Help design, document, and maintain system processes
  • Report on common sources of technical issues or questions and make recommendations to product team
  • Communicate key insights and findings to product team
  • Constantly be on the lookout for ways to improve monitoring, discover issues and deliver better value to the customer 

Education and Experience: 

  • Recent graduate in the fields of either Business, Engineering, or IT
  • Ability to work collaboratively in large teams.
  • Desire to receive on the job training and mentoring
