Business Analyst

Macmahon is accepting applications for the role of Business Analyst to join our Perth based Technology Team. Reporting to the Plant Commercial Superintendent this position provides wide range of support to Plant Commercial Superintendent with data analysis and transition of some processes and procedures to SAP.

The role will include

• Interrogate data to provide performance reports and analysis,
• Identify costs misallocations and opportunities for improvement where possible,
• Analyse commercial data (including budgets, forecasts and monthly projects results) and discussing them with stakeholders at different levels within the organisation.
• Identify processes, behaviours, training and standards that require higher level review to effect change and improvement, with the focus on CAPC and Recoveries process.
• assisting in implementation of approved process/policy changes, issuing revised instructions and procedure manuals, and drafting other documentation
• Support a large number of stakeholders from Project Managers to Formal Leaders, Area Managers, Team Leaders and individuals

The ideal candidate

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business or a relevant discipline
• Experience performing complex analytical and problem-solving activities, including the ability to identify potential issues, business improvement opportunities and compile and present research findings to management
• An intermediate level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Strong attention to detail and exceptional analytical skills
• Hands on approach and pro-active 
• Dynamic can-do attitude, team player
• SAP experience desirable
