Role overview
Fortescue is seeking the services of a highly capable Business Analyst with strong interpersonal skills and a passion for Cyber Security to join their team to work across the analysis, design, and development of a range of cyber security solutions.
About the program
Data Protection Program is a critical function supporting Fortescue’s ability to mitigate risk of sensitive data breaches, with a focus on Intellectual Property and Personally Identifiable Information (PII). The Data Protection Program aims to add new security controls and extend the reach of existing Information Protection controls across the Fortescue group.
Key responsibilities include:
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, facilitating their engagement and contribution to the identification and development of secure solutions, and to inform decision making
- Work alongside various project teams to develop and progress the Cyber Security Program initiatives, including Financial (cost vs benefits) analysis
- Define, develop, and test business processes to support the new capabilities being delivered
- Conduct workshops and document high- and low-level requirements and acceptance criteria
- Review functional specifications to ensure business alignment
- Support project team/s to successfully deliver the project/s using contemporary tools and applications
Qualifications and Experience:
- Ability to work effectively on simultaneous projects within defined timeframes Strong stakeholder communication, facilitation, and coordination skills, in forums such as working groups, committee meetings, and stakeholder consultations
- Demonstrated 3 years' + experience in a complex business analysis role preferably within a Cyber Security Program which includes exposure to Cyber Security technologies
- Demonstrated experience in preparing high quality written reports and presentations that clearly articulate the issues and proposed solutions, in a dynamic / changing environment
- Demonstrated ability to determine and document business and technical requirements, and gain agreement with stakeholders on optimal approach
- Demonstrated experience in process mapping and facilitation of business process design/redesign
- Understanding of Project Delivery life cycle and Agile Ways of working
