About the role:
Emeco is embarking on an exciting multiyear journey to transform our business, with a key project focused on replacing and consolidating two aging ERPs into Microsoft Dynamics 365. As part of this transformation, we are seeking a dedicated Business Analyst to join our team and play a pivotal role in capturing user requirements, driving process improvements, and ensuring the successful implementation of Dynamics 365.
This is an 18 month fixed term position, with a possible extension depending on the length of project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with internal stakeholders across multiple departments to gather, validate, and document business requirements.
- Process Improvement: Model current and future business processes, identifying opportunities for process enhancements and efficiencies.
- Solution Evaluation: Identify issues, risks, and benefits of proposed solutions while outlining their business impacts. Evaluate whether the proposed solution aligns with various business unit requirements.
- Stakeholder Management: Manage relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful project execution.
- System Integration: Work closely with the implementation partner to develop and integrate the new systems solution.
- Reporting and Documentation: Provide report writing and form design for finance and supply chain using Dynamics 365 and PowerBI. Manage the creation of ERP application system documentation.
- Change Management: Support business transition efforts and help establish change management processes.
- Training: Assist in the development and delivery of training to key stakeholders and end users.
- Testing Coordination: Manage the planning, creation, and execution of User Acceptance Test cases, ensuring the delivery of a high-quality ERP change.
About You:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in business analysis or business systems management, with a proven track record in successful system implementation.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or Software Engineering (in progress or completed) is desirable.
- Previous involvement in greenfield implementation of enterprise ERP systems like D365, SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, Pronto.
- Proven experience in driving business process improvements through technology.
- Proficiency in PowerBI for report writing.
- Strong project and user-testing management abilities.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with strong interpersonal capabilities.
- Ability to train and coach staff on new systems and processes.
- Customer-focused with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.
- Execution-focused, capable of identifying and implementing solutions.
- Attention to detail and effective organizational skills.
- Initiative-driven, with a commitment to continuous improvement.
