The Position
An exceptional opportunity exists for an experienced Business Development Manager to expand the Emeco business in NSW. Reporting to the State Manager, this position will provide a unique opportunity to lead the growth strategy in the drive for new opportunities in both new and existing markets. The right individual must have a demonstrated record of success in executing and delivering results in a dynamic environment, coupled with the energy, drive and determination to shape the long-term success of the Emeco business .
You will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Ability to work towards goals and targeted results
- Promote the Emeco capabilities
- Driving business growth
- Developing strong customer relationships to retain and generate new business
- Effectively engaging with customers to understand their process and constraints
- Developing customer focused, cost effective and value-adding solutions
- Requires travel within the Hunter Valley and Regional NSW

About you
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the mining industry in a Business Development role.
- You are a sales ‘hunter’.
- Results focused.
- Solution oriented with the ability to identify and execute creative customer focused solutions.
- Commercially astute and proven ability to handle complex deals and negotiations in a business to business market.
- Able to apply business, financial and technical strategic thinking concepts.
- Able to influence and communicate effectively across all layers of an organisation and with any stakeholder group.
