About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Business Intelligence Analyst to join our Production Scheduling Integration team.  This team is responsible for the mine planning and scheduling integration process, mine design support and generation of improvement projects, as well as management of relevant innovation and technology initiatives. 

Reporting to Superintendent Mine Scheduling & Int, your responsibility include:  

  • Develop Power BI, Spotfire, HTML data models, reports and apps to clearly visualise mine planning and scheduling data by using industry best practices.
  • Maintain and support current systems and structures, enabling data-driven operations and automated decision making.
  • Undertake reconciliation activities to ensure reported KPIs are correct.
  • Support the current project pipeline in Azure & Snowflake data warehouse platform.
  • Provide project insights to all stakeholder levels and apply agile methods for project delivery.

About You

We have a strong focus on finding individuals with the right values, leadership capability, and communication skills. Critical thinking, solution-focused attitude and demonstrated ability to consolidate and analyse information. Ability to communicate effectively across disciplines, departments and organisational levels to create buy-in and influence outcomes will be highly regarded.  Ensure large and/or complex data is accessible, understandable and usable, and conveying clarity, through appropriate data visualisation techniques and methods.

To be successful you will ideally have the following experience and capabilities:  

  • 5+ years of experience in analytics projects, good understanding of data visualisation concepts and proven experience in a similar role producing reports and apps.
  • Aptitude for understanding business objectives and processes and translating them into business and technical analysis of relevant data.
  • Advanced experience in Power BI, HTML, Spotfire, Power Automate, Power Apps, as well as programming experience in Python, R, VB.
  • Advanced experience in database management (SQL Server Management Studio, Oracle SQL Developer, ETL frameworks)
  • Strong analytical and requirement gathering skills.
  • Ability to able to engage with stakeholders at all levels.

Location

In this full-time permanent position, you will be based in Perth, Western Australia, in the multi award winning office tower - ‘City Square’. You will have stunning river views from your modern open plan office, state of the art facilities including virtual whiteboards and video conferencing facilities, 550 bicycle racks with ample lockers, showers and change room amenities and a large outdoor terrace with barbecues.

You will be working on a Monday-Friday roster while a Flexi work arrangement is also offered.
