Reporting to the General Manager Human Resources within a vibrant and experienced group of HR professionals, you will partner with senior leaders to design strategy and deliver initiatives to enhance culture and engagement. .  This is a great opportunity to support our Iron Ore business to achieve its vision to be the most valued resource business.

What you’ll bring

  • A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team

  • Relevant senior business partnering experience within a large, networked organisation

  • Ability to define strategy and translate that strategy into executable and measurable outcomes

  • Proven ability to engage, influence and collaborate with senior leadership and apply contemporary HR systems, processes, and obligations to complex problems

  • Ability to coach and influence senior leaders in a way that drives improvement, tests conventional thinking and challenges the status quo

  • Experience in organisational design and implementation of appropriate tools and systems, organisation and development interventions 

  • A HR or business-related qualification will be seen as advantageous

  • It will be beneficial if you have experience within the resources/heavy industry/manufacturing sector

Where you’ll be working

You will be Perth-based with the opportunity to work flexibly from home combined with time in our Central Park offices. There will be a requirement for regular Pilbara site travel, however this will be largely self managed rather than through a roster arrangement. 

In the Pilbara region of Western Australia, we own a world-class, integrated network of 17 mines, four independent port terminals, a rail network spanning nearly 2,000 kilometres and related infrastructure – all designed to respond rapidly to changes in demand. We are one of the world’s leading producers and exporters of iron ore.
