Business Partner - HR

Macmahon is on the lookout for a proactive and experienced People Business Partner to join our Underground Mining team. This is a unique opportunity to play a strategic role in aligning our people strategy with operational goals, while supporting leaders across a diverse range of site locations. As a trusted advisor, you’ll be the primary HR contact for operational leaders—providing expert guidance, coaching, and support across all facets of people management. You’ll lead the implementation of Macmahon’s people frameworks, champion our core values, and help foster a high-performing, inclusive culture that supports our workforce and drives business success.

About you 

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resource Management or similar
• Previous HR experience in the mining industry (preferred)
• Experience using Success Factors or a similar HRIS to drive HR policy and operations
• Strong understanding of contemporary people and culture practices
• Knowledge of the prevailing Industrial Relations legislation
• Knowledge of best practice in Human Resource Management
• Flexibility and willingness to complete travel to remote mine sites on a regular basis
