Capital Project Engineer

Work Location: Perth

Fortescue’s Perth office is located on the traditional lands of the Whadjuk Noongar people.

Roster: Monday to Friday 

The Capital Project Engineer will support governance of Pilbara Operations capital portfolio. Reporting to the Capital Portfolio Manager, this role will be responsible for the analysis and reporting of portfolio performance.  This role will provide insights into project performance which will drive continuous improvement and optimisation of the capital portfolio.  

Key responsibilities include:

• Analysis and reporting of project and operations portfolio performance,
• Development and ownership of portfolio dashboards,
• Supporting the governance of the capital forecast, through the monitoring of project performance and identifying opportunities to improve.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering and /or Project Management essential
• Strong problem solving and data analytics experience essential.
• Power BI and SAP experience essential
• Strong communication skills and the ability to communicate at all levels highly regarded.
