Join the Ulysses underground mining team as an EXPERIENCED Charge Up person and be an integral part of the crew for a new mine in the goldfields of Western Australia. This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in the development stage of the underground mining cycle.

About the role
FIFO from Perth or DIDO from Kalgoorlie
Family friendly 2:2 roster
Development mine with optimal conditions to excel 
Great camp facilities including gym and swimming pool
Camp located close to town of Leonora 
$50 - $66 per hour (dependant on experience)

About you

• Development and production charging experience
• ANFO highly desirable
• Safe and efficient handling, transport and storage of explosives and blasting agents
• Ensure compliance and implementation of site blasting and evacuation procedures
• Conducts preparation for blast holes in accordance with site procedures to minimise misfires and improve utilisation of explosives
• Ensure all materials are used and all waste is disposed of in the environmentally approved manner
• Paperwork to be filled in correctly including personal names, party numbers, dates and tasks performed 
• Cleaning and preparation of all blast holes prior to charging
• Install and/or removal of mine services and ventilation
• Extension, maintenance and instillation of firing lines
• Essential tickets – WWH, DG, SHOTFIRERS LICENCE and Valid MANUAL Australian Driving Licence
