Charge Up Operator

Pit N Portal currently require Experienced Charge Up Operators to commence immediately at the King Vol Mine, 40km N/W of Chillagoe in North QLD.

Skills & Experience Required 

• High regard and commitment towards safety  
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills  
• Demonstrated initiative and ability to work within a team environment and automatously  
• Must have demonstrated experience within an underground environment, specifically Charge-Up.
• Previous electronic detonator experience (favourable)
• Previous experience in the use of emulsion, production up-hole and development charging.
• Shotfirers or equivalent competency (favourable)
• Current QSEC licence or willingness to obtain
• National Police Clearance within 3 months
• Current "C Class" Manual Driver's License 
• National Police Clearance within 6 months of issue date  
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screen 
• Working Rights within Australia
