Pit N Portal currently have multiple opportunities for experienced underground Charge Up Operators to join the team. Working a 2 & 2 roster, FIFO from Perth or DIDO from Kalgoorlie

Key responsibilities include:

• Carryout safe and competent underground charge-up operation
• Handle and transport explosive material
• Charge-up holes, down-holes and drives using blow-loaded ANFO and low impact explosives
• Work as part of a team to achieve results
• Must maintain a high standard of housekeeping

Required skills / experience & attributes:

• Minimum of 12 months, recent experience in a Charge Up Operator position
• Production charging experience is essential
• WA Shot Firers Licence
• Dangerous Goods Security Card, Working at Heights Certificate and relevant RPLs
• Valid "C" Class Manual Driver’s Licence
• National Police Clearance within 12 months
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening
