The Gwalia Gold Mine is located three kilometres south of the town of Leonora, Western Australia, and has been a flagship asset for our client St Barbara for the past 15 years. Macmahon is proud to be able to deliver a whole of mine service including mine development, ground support, production drilling and blasting, loading and trucking, shotcreting and paste fill reticulation from May 2021. The Gwalia mine is the cornerstone of Leonora operations and has strong margins supported by good grades and a focus on costs and returns. The site has a track record of continuous improvement, with a recently upgraded mine ventilation system, and a previous significant upgrade of the accommodation village that incorporated a number of energy efficient and environmentally friendly initiatives.
 

The Macmahon Underground team are seeking Charge Up Operators to work a 2 weeks on 2 weeks off night & day shift roster FIFO out of Perth. 

$15,000 SIGN ON BONUS available.

Superannuation paid on all hours worked.
 

Must meet the following criteria to be considered:
 

Underground Charge Up / Shotfirers Ticket and DGSC
Previous experience working underground
Hold a high regard to safety
Fit and ready to pass a Pre Employment Medical
Provide a National Police Clearance
Hold a Valid Drivers Licence
Have a can do attitude
