About the role

We are looking for a Chemist on a permanent, full time basis within the Laboratory and Sampling team conducting tests and reporting data in support of our testing capabilities. This position will suit a chemist who is dynamic, self-motivated, and seeking a secure long term Perth based role.
Reporting to the Chemist and Analysis Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Assisting sites to ensure continuous analytical ability to required accuracy and precision
- Conduct analytical tests and interpret data to prepare quality assurance and quality control reports
- Liaise with the internal and external stakeholders with regards to results, reporting and equipment performance
- Continuous improvement and fault-finding projects across the fleet of Laboratories.
- Prepare and process samples to support projects.
About You
To be successfully considered for this role, you will have:
- A tertiary degree in the related field (chemistry, physics, mineral engineering)
- Ideally 2-5 years’ experience in a similar role
- Excellent attention to detail
- Well-developed analytical and communication skills

Where you'll be working
This role is based in Perth, Western Australia, out of our Central Park office, working Monday – Friday, with ad hoc travel to sites in the Pilbara. We support and encourage flexible working arrangements.
