Roster: 5/2 Roster (Mon to Fri)
In support of Fortescue’s strong focus on green energy and our carbon neutrality targets, one of our key initiatives will be in our Green Fleet projects whereby we will develop and test a range of technologies to power our mining fleet
FFI are currently looking for an experienced Chief Programme Manager to lead the management of designated projects and market portfolio, to deliver agreed objectives including revenue, timing and deliverables
Key accountabilities will include:
- Customer Relationship
- Establish, develop and manage strong working relationship with customers, at all levels and expand to drive future revenue
- Act as primary point of contact to the customer for all aspects
- Escalation
- Resolve and manage any relationship threatening decisions, whether technical, operational, commercial or affecting programme delivery
- Project / Programme
- Manage and lead the delivery of large projects >£20m and/or portfolio considering:
- Technical requirements
- Achieving programme deliverables
- Project cost and timing
- Progress reporting (internal & external)
- Cash management & invoicing
- Risk Management and Mitigation
- Manage and lead the delivery of large projects >£20m and/or portfolio considering:
- Process
- Continuously develop and improve the WAE process to programme delivery
- Identify, negotiate and agree areas of change to work scope or risk management and control via change management with the stakeholders
- General
- Represent and promote the WAE brand, being mindful of the impact any failure
- Identify solutions to address areas of weakness or opportunities of growth
- Provide event support when and if requested including travel nationally or internationally
- Attend annual Performance Management and Review Meetings and agree annual objectives and a Personal Development Plan (PDP)
- Ensure confidentiality is maintained at all times, in all aspects of this position
Qualifications and skills required:
- Typically 15+ years of project management experience with a minimum 5yrs in senior PM position.
- Degree level qualified in Management or preferably Engineering subject.
- Proven track record of personally leading programme delivery on large or multiple projects
- Setting up full development plans from concept to production, and the associated gateways and kpi trackers.
- Leading the cost management and the Commercial leadership with demonstratable negotiation skills
- Ability to influence outcomes with customer at peer level. Along with ability to influence Senior leadership team internally.
- Deep understanding of product development processes and the adaptability for size of project.
- Experienced with Microsoft Office. Microsoft project as a minimum.
