About The Role
An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced CHPP Maintainer, Based at out Narrabri mine site. The CHPP Maintainer is responsible for operating, monitoring, maintaining the Coal Handling Preparation Plant.
What You’ll Do
- Damage and defects identification within plant and work areas
- Task preparation job hazard analysis skills such as, Take 5 (or similar) risk assessments before commencing or recommencing a task;
- Participation in the preparation of JSA’s, work methods including drawings, specifications, activity sequences, identification and assessment of hazards.
- Ability to complete designated process plant housekeeping standard tasks;
- Operational experience of process plant and equipment including
- Conveyors
- Reclaim Tunnels and Valves
- Vibrating Screens and Feeders
- Bulldozers, Loader and Bobcat
- Crushers
- Planned and Breakdown Maintenance of process plant equipment
What You’ll Bring
The successful applicant will possess the following qualifications, experience and qualities:
- Mechanical trade certification
- Supervisor training S123 equivalent
- Working at heights / Confined Space / Gas Testing
- Exposure with Processing Plant Operating systems
- Exposure with Process plant production, Stockpile Dozer and train load out operational experience
