Ashton is proud to employ over 300 people across its operations with our people being at the heart of our business and our greatest ambassadors. Ashton Coal Operations is located approximately 18 kilometres north of Singleton in the Hunter Valley, New South Wales (NSW). Operating 24 hours a day, our operations  including an underground mine and coal handling and preparation plant.

Job Tasks and Responsibilities

The CHPP Maintenance Planner supports the site business objectives by planning and scheduling maintenance activities to enable machine optimisation within the CHPP area.  The role supports our CHPP to achieve targeted availability, maintain costs effectively and ensure that work is carried out efficiently.  

Skills and Experience

To be successful in this role you will need:

• Technical or trade qualifications in Engineering or equivalent.
• 2 years experience working in a CHPP environment 
• Experience and ability to use planning and maintenance systems such as SAP
• Detailed knowledge of a range of CHPP/ Mining equipment and systems
