The site operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Job Tasks and Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Mobile Fleet Maintenance Coordinator to join our team on a at Ashton Coal Operation, working at our Coal Handling Preparation Plant.

Reporting to the CHPP Manager, the successful applicant will be committed to the proactive maintenance of our machinery with a proven safety focus. This position ensures the CHPP Mobile Fleet operates at targeted availability, costs are maintained effectively and work is carried out in an efficient, safe and timely manner.

JOB TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan, Lead, Organise and Control the Mobile Fleet maintenance personnel and equipment in the CHPP area of operations.
• Liaise with the CHPP Mechanical Reliability Engineer and CHPP Manager to ensure timely and productive team management and development.
• Develop timely and accurate CHPP production performance and distribute reports to appropriate recipients and provide critical information impacting compliance or production to CHPP Manager

The successful applicant will be an experienced coordinator with extensive experience on Komatsu & Caterpillar Haul Trucks, Caterpillar Dozers, Caterpillar Wheel loaders and other various mobile equipment.

Skills and Experience

To be successful you will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

• Mechanical or Electrical Trade qualified
• Frontline Leadership (desired)
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in the same or similar role, such as Maintenance Coordinator or Maintenance Supervisor
• SAP experience (desirable)
• Highly developed communication skills
• Superior problem solving skills and decision making skills
• Sound knowledge in Coal Mining Work Health & Safety legislation.
