About the Role
We are currently seeking a motivated and talented Chute Coordinator Fixed Plant Maintenance within the Nelson Point Maintenance Execution team.
This role is suitable for FIFO or residential with a roster of 5:2 – working 8 hours per day or 5:2 / 4:3 – working 12 hours per day.
Your responsibilities will include:
- An overriding commitment to health, safety and environmental responsibilities
- Supporting the health and wellbeing and sustainable development of team members
- Drive an inclusive and diverse culture
- Build relationships across functions to achieve positive working environment for task execution
- Maintain 1SAP Work Management processes for Chute tasks
- Identify, report and rectify hazards
- Manage and coach work groups on quality through execution of Chute activities
- Actively drive continues improvement and embed lessons learnt from execution
- Strong commitment to the field leadership program and coach field leadership activities
- Adhere to the WAIO SMF process by being single point of accountability for all Chute related work
About You
You will be an effective and collaborative communicator with the ability to manage multiple business priorities simultaneously. Strong interpersonal skills are essential, allowing you to influence while also enabling you to build relationships across departments.
As the successful applicant you will possesses the following:
- Strong safety leadership skills and history of field leadership participation
- Be process driven
- Experienced in 1SAP work management
- Ability to work autonomously to meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Exceptional risk management skills
- Strong leadership experience in leading and developing teams
- An energetic and enthusiastic approach to work, with a drive to develop and learn
- Ability to problem solve and react to unplanned situations
- Sound time management skills
- Experience in Chute Maintenance Activities
Licenses and Appointments:
- Qualified trades person/ Equivalent Engineering qualification
- Current unrestricted West Australian ‘C’ class license
- BHP S26 ( Desirable )
- MSIA Section 44 Appointment
