Work Location: Hedland Operations – located on the traditional lands of the Kariyarra people.
Roster: 8 Days On / 6 Days Off- FIFO ex Perth or Residentially based in Port Hedland

We’re building the future, powered by our people, and we’re looking for experienced Civil Operators to join our Port Operations team in Port Hedland.
As a Civil Operator – Port, you’ll play an important hands-on role supporting safe and efficient port operations across the Anderson Point Stockyard. Operating heavy civil equipment in a dynamic live environment, you’ll be involved in magnetite stockpile management, civil maintenance works, shutdown support and spillage management activities that keep our operations running safely and reliably.

Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate D10 dozers and other civil equipment across port operations
- Turn and condition magnetite stockpiles to achieve Transportable Moisture Limit (TML) requirements
- Perform underbelt cleaning and spillage removal activities in live conveyor environments
- Maintain site roads, drainage systems and general civil infrastructure
- Undertake windrow remediation and dam berm construction and maintenance
- Support stockpile management activities within the Anderson Point Stockyard
- Assist during shutdowns with pad construction, laydown preparation and parking area establishment
- Complete pre-start inspections and report equipment defects
- Work in line with safety systems, permits and hazard reporting requirements
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and team performance outcomes
Qualifications and Experience
- Experience operating D10 dozers or similar heavy equipment
- Background in bulk material handling, stockpile management or civil operations
- Experience working around live conveyors and within high-risk operational environments
- Experience operating excavators with attachments under live conveyors is highly regarded
- Knowledge of stockpile conditioning and spillage management
- Understanding of civil maintenance including roads, drainage and earthworks
- Strong commitment to safety and hazard awareness
- Current Driver’s Licence
- Relevant plant operator tickets and VOCs
- HR Licence desirable
