About You

As the successful candidate, you will possess the following:

  • Minimum C class Driver’s Licence
  • Motivated individual who can work with minimal supervision and engage in team operations
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work well within a team to achieve outcomes
  • Strong orientation to safe work practices – High safety focus

About the Role

We are currently seeking a Cleaning and General Technician to join our team at Kalgoorlie. The successful individual will be responsible for ensuring a high level of cleanliness across all mine site services, including but not limited to laundry and general duties around offices and site.  

Key duties and responsibilities in the role include:  

  • Washing operations site clothing.
  • Folding and sorting clean clothing to change room racks.
  • Bathroom, Kitchen and Shared area cleaning.
  • Window cleaning.
  • Emptying bins in offices and shared areas.
  • Vacuuming and mopping floors.
  • Short-term accommodation cleaning.
  • Gardening.
  • Moving consumables into storage.
  • Office plant care and watering.
  • Small maintenance tasks such as painting where required.

On offer is a permanent part time position working directly for BHP along with the following:

  • Part time role working Monday to Friday 4 hours per day total 20hrs per week with flexible hours offered 
  • Located residentially in Kalgoorlie / Kambalda – Home every night.
