About the Role

We are seeking motivated, highly organised individual to join our Coal Handling Preparation Plant (CHPP) Maintenance team.  This opportunity is being offered on permanent basis reporting to the CHPP Maintenance Superintendent,  in this CHPP Maintenance Planner role you will provide clearly structured plans for our weekly work and deliverables for execution teams to follow. We are building a balanced and diverse team and are eager to hear from passionate individuals who want to leverage their transferrable skills.   

This opportunity is based at BHP's Mt Arthur Mine Site in the beautiful Hunter Valley region of NSW and is being offered on a family friendly Monday to Friday, days only basis.

About You

As our successful applicant will require strong process discipline and adherence to systems and frameworks, along with thorough job analysis and planning detail.

You will be strong with stakeholder engagement, communication, organisation and team work. With a focus on continuous improvement, you will present innovative ideas and be willing to go the extra mile. You will be enthusiastic about service delivery and passionate about delivering extraordinary results and have the ability to develop and grow across multiple areas of the team.   To be successful in the role you will require the following skills and experience:  

•    Previous maintenance planning experience is essential •    Mine Site experience would be advantageous   •    Previous Coal Handling Process Plant (CHPP) maintenance planning experience would be ideal  •   An understanding of the work management process (1SAP) •    MS package experience •    Knowledge of Master Data  •    A Mechanical or Electrical Trade or Engineering degree qualification is required •    Continuous improvement and project management experience would be beneficial.
