About the Role

The Commercial Superintendent is responsible for the provision of commercial oversight and management accounting services for Premier Coal. This includes timely reporting to management of actual, budget and forecast information (financial and physical). The incumbent is responsible for ensuring the financial and accounting requirements of Premier Coal Mine, Management and Operating Agreements are adhered to.  The integrity of the information is to be supported by a high standard of internal controls, on-going competence building and training and strong focus process improvements.

About You

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance or equivalent
• 5 years' experience in a similar role
• CPA/CA designation or currently studying towards (highly regarded)
• Competent in SAP or similar ERP systems
• Experienced with the use of Xeras forecasting and budgeting tool
• High level of commercial acumen
• Vast knowledge of the relevant legislation/standards
• Excellent knowledge of financial and accounting processes
