The Greenbushes project is located in the picturesque South West region of Western Australia in the Shire of Bridgetown-Greenbushes. Our client, Talison Lithium, is the world’s leading lithium minerals concentrate provider and the Greenbushes project is recognised as containing the world’s highest grade and largest hard rock deposit of the lithium mineral spodumene. Macmahon is pleased to deliver surface mining operations at the project from 01 July 2023.
Macmahon is seeking expressions of interest for a Commercial Superintendent to join the Greenbushes team on a Drive-In-Drive-Out (DIDO) basis. The Commercial Superintendent is responsible for ensuring the project contract is executed according to Macmahon procedures, whilst monitoring contract performance and risk. The Commercial Superintendent is also responsible for reporting, financial planning, forecasting, contract compliance and governance to maximise productivity and profitability across the operation.
About you
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Commerce, Finance, Quantity Surveying, contract administration or equivalent
- 5 years’ experience in a similar role
- High level of commercial acumen
- Vast knowledge of the relevant legislation
- Significant experience a contracts administration role
- High level understanding of and ability to interpret contractual documentation
- Ability to adhere to financial reporting deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Good understanding of QA/QC processes and requirements
- Excellent knowledge of financial and accounting processes
