About the role

This is a 12-month fixed-term position.

Reporting to the Manager Mining Engineering, you will support the compliance team in the control and coordination of operational and compliance activities. 

Key accountabilities:

• Maintain reporting data and records in accordance with Document Management protocols.
• Managing and communicating notices and correspondence from the Resources Regulator
• Assisting with formatting of documents and maintaining the compliance document filing system.
• Maintain compliance database.
• Coordinate and facilitate meetings and underground visitors
• Updating of Mine Safety Management System documents.
• Effectively collaborate with internal stakeholders across all levels of the business.
• All other direction/s by the company provided it's safe, reasonable and lawful and in line with your skills, experience and qualifications.

To be considered for the role, you will have:

• Previous experience in an administrative role
• Knowledge of NSW Mining Legislation (desirable)
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to prioritise work

Location

This position will be at the Dendrobium mine which is in the southern coalfields of New South Wales, near the coastal city of Wollongong and approximately 75 kilometres south and southwest of Sydney.
