ABOUT GEMCO

ABOUT THE ROLE

This role is a Permanent position on a 7:7 rotating DS/NS roster, FIFO from Darwin or Cairns.

As the Concentrator Operator, you will be responsible for safely executing production activities at the Primary Crushing Station, Concentrator, Sands Plant and Tailings facilities in alignment with HSE requirements and Production plans.

Key roles include operation of fixed plant and mobile equipment (Dozer, Loader, Excavator, Bobcat) as well as an Area Ownership, Authorised Isolator and Authority to Work (ATW) Authoriser.

Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:

• Reporting and rectify hazards within operational areas
• Perform operational checks and report defects of all operational areas
• Monitor and troubleshoot fixed plant
• Design, verify, execute, authorize and hold permits for isolations of fixed plant

ABOUT YOU

You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:

• Prior experience operating in Beneficiation plant – dense media / gravity separation, scrubbing circuits and tailings disposal
• Processing, Beneficiation and Crusher/Screening experience
• Demonstrating commitment to safe working practices
