Role overview:

The Lubrication Supervisor will be responsible for the smooth running of the production plant, production assets, and all associated infrastructure. This role will have a number Lubrication Technicians reporting into it, and will be responsible for developing the team's capabilities, and securing the ongoing success of the team and the overall Lubrication function

Key responsibilities include: 

  • Always ensure departmental compliance of the site safety procedures and practices, work management procedures, and common industry best practice for all Lubrication works and assist the team to carry out quality inspections, repairs, and maintenance of fixed plant equipment
  • Ensure compliance to CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System - SAP) and Continuously improve systems and procedures
  • Supervise, train and mentor the Lubrication Technicians in line with industry standards
  • Liaise with relevant site representatives to schedule tasks for the upcoming maintenance and operational works
  • Supervising and maintaining lubrication schedules to 'complete on time' and ensuring safe and effective execution of Lubrication activities across the plant
  • Oversee and manage the team in conducting root cause analysis and providing lubrication solutions

Qualifications and Experience: 

  • LCAT or MLA Qualification (Desirable)  
  • Previous Lubrication and Condition Monitoring experience essential
  • Current Driver’s License (C class unrestricted manual) 
  • SAP competency (Preferred)
  • Hydraulic systems experience (Desirable)
