About the Role
We are currently looking for a Condition Monitoring Specialist to join the Maintenance Reliability Team. The Condition Monitoring Specialist will also undertake Routine Lubrication and NDT Coordination. The successful applicant will also have the potential to Supervise the Condition Monitoring Team while also assisting in the execution of both strategy and breakdown tasks. This role is based at Broadmeadow Mine on a flexible 5/2 roster with flexible travel options available. Your responsibilities will include:
- An overriding commitment to health, safety and environmental responsibilities;
- Deliverance of the execution and continuous improvement of the Condition Monitoring program;
- Using technologies such as vibration analysis, laser alignment, oil analysis & non- destructive testing;
- Managing the day to day operations both in planned weekly space and also a shutdown environment;
- Identify, report and rectify hazards;
- Strong commitment to the field leadership program.
About You
As a successful applicant you will possess the following:
- Minimum 3 years Underground Coal Mining Experience;
- Solid hands on Condition Monitoring experience within an Underground Longwall operation;
- A passion for continuous improvement of systems/ processes and equipment health;
- Strong time management and prioritisation skills;
- Strong communication, interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills;
- Experience in 1SAP work management;
- Ability to work autonomously to meet deadlines;
- An energetic and ethusiastic approach to work, with a drive to develop and learn;
- Ability to problem solve and react to unplanned situations;
Licenses and Appointments:
- Minimum Vibration Cat III Desirable;
- Oil Analysis level MLA1;
- MPI Level II;
- Infrared Thermography Level I;
- Supervisor S1, S2, S3 Desirable;
