Condition Monitoring Technician
Work Location: Iron Bridge Fortescue’s Iron Bridge project is located on the traditional lands of the Nyamal people.
Roster: 8D/6R – FIFO ex Perth
Role overview:
To support our growing Condition Monitoring Team, we are seeking a highly motivated and professional individual to assist with condition monitoring related tasks and inspections of all critical fixed plant equipment at the new Iron Bridge Joint Venture.
Key responsibilities include:
- Complete vibration analysis, NDT, thermographic and other condition monitoring related inspections of onsite equipment
- Analyse, generate reports and highlight corrective actions for relevant stakeholders in order to reduce unplanned equipment downtime
- Assisting with RCA other investigative processes at the request of maintenance, production or engineering groups
- Maintenance of role specific databases including MHM, ALS Webtrieve and PDS
- Installation and maintenance of remote vibration monitoring systems.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Mechanical / Electrical trade or Tertiary Qualification in relevant discipline
- Vibration CAT II or III certification
- Ultrasonic Thickness Inspection UT Level I certification
- Machinery Lubricant Analyst MLA II certification
- Thermography Level I certification
- C class driver’s licence
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High level of attention to detail
