About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Condition Monitoring Technical Officer to join our Port team at Finucane Island.
The Condition Monitoring Technical Officer is responsible for the site condition-monitoring program (rotating equipment) using a variety of predictive maintenance technologies.
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering the execution and continuous improvement of the CM program using technologies such as vibration analysis, oil analysis, acoustic emissions, Non Destructive Testing.
The role will also require some relevant CM fitting work such as installing and maintaining remote accelerometer systems and minor lube surveys.
About You
The successful candidate will ideally have a relevant trade qualification / engineering background and solid hands-on CM experience with fixed plant rotating equipment.
We are looking for an individual who is passionate about continuous improvement of systems/processes and equipment health, coupled with strong time management and prioritization skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must, allowing you to build relationships across departments and to communicate with disciplines at all levels.
You must also demonstrate an overriding commitment to health, safety, environmental responsibility and sustainability.
You will have experience with the following:
- Vibration Cat 2 qualification minimum
- Oil Analysis Level 1 or 2 desirable
- Ultrasonic Thickness Testing level 1 minimum
- SAP / FIORI experience would be advantageous
- Experience with CSI2140 hardware & MHM database desirable
- Experience replacing remote accelerometers is desirable
Location
Residential – You will be based in the coastal town of Port Hedland on a 8/6, 7/7 roster day shifts only. Port Hedland is home to our port and rail operations and is the largest regional centre in North West Australia. The 20,000-strong population enjoys well-established education services, entertainment, shopping and medical facilities.
FIFO- In this FIFO role you will work an 8/6 7/7 roster day shifts only based in Port Hedland. Port Hedland has outstanding facilities at the FIFO villages include; a fully equipped gym, TV lounge and games rooms in addition to aquatic and sporting facilities. All rooms at the villages have their own en-suite bathroom, television, refrigerator and air-conditioning
