About the Role

Reporting to the Infrastructure Superintendent, the Contracts Coordinator role will be responsible for the application of the Contractor Management Framework for contract partners engaged to perform work within the infrastructure team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the duties and obligations of a contract owner as outlined in the Contractor Management Framework for a category of services
  • Develop, complete and maintain work scopes, risk assessments and Contractor Management documentation in collaboration with stakeholders, including any changes
  • Schedule, facilitate, record and distribute meetings required under CMF routines
  • Conduct field verifications of contract partner activities
  • Identify continuous improvement initiatives to drive process, cost and productivity improvements

About You

You will be a team player, who is passionate about all aspects of your trade. Working with a diverse team of skilled tradespeople you will have demonstrated experience working on mine sites and/or construction projects and have the flexibility to undertake a variety of different tasks and scopes. You will embrace a proactive safety culture and be willing to comply with all site policies and procedures.

You will also possess:

  • Demonstrated experience in the management of contractors, within mining or similar industries
  • Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A commitment to safety, quality and attention to detail and procedure
  • A desire to achieve results through great teamwork and the ability to collaborate effectively within a multi-skilled team
