Contracts and Procurement Specialist – Green Fleet Development
Work Location: Perth
Roster: Monday to Friday
As the Contracts & Procurement Specialist you will work collaboratively with the Green Fleet and Green Industry teams providing support with the contracts and procurement process for FFI’s Green Fleet Development. You will assist with sourcing, contract execution, implementation, delivery and close out of contracts and procurement activities.
This position would be best suited to an individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and has a high level of flexibility, is strategic and proactive with strong stakeholder engagement abilities.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop, coordinate, and evaluate sourcing and tender packages for works, capital equipment and services
- Negotiate contract terms and conditions, to support project schedule and budget
- Conduct sourcing activities in accordance with contracts and procurement policies and procedures
- Develop well-written, well-structured procurement documentation that supports the project requirements
- Identify and maximise cost and schedule saving opportunities
- Generate reports, innovative commercial models, and market analysis to support procurement decision-making
- Identify and evaluate key risks at contract formation and seek input from other functions as appropriate (e.g., technical, legal etc.)
Qualifications and skills required:
- At least 5 years of contracts experience (Principal and/or Manufacturer) within Mining
- Demonstrated experience in internal and external stakeholder engagement across multiple disciplines
- Work in a fast-paced environment across multiple packages
- Bachelor's degree in commerce, business, law, or construction is desirable
- High level written skills with excellent attention to detail
- Understanding and ability to apply various commercial models to deliver best cost and schedule outcomes
- Understanding of contractual concepts to enable proactive and efficient contract negotiation
- Highly organised self-starter who can deliver results while working under pressure on multiple tasks within tight timeframes
- Demonstrated resilience when managing diverse workloads and priorities to deliver quality and timely results
