About the Role

Based on site at Caval ridge Mine, this role is responsible for the application of the Contractor Management Framework (CMF) for contract partners engaged to perform work on site and will fulfil the duties and obligations as outlined in the CMF.

Accountable for contractor compliance, the maintenance contracts team deliver work-ready contractor resources into the execution teams where mutually beneficial relationships are fostered.  We monitor, mentor and collaborate with customers, suppliers and stakeholders for improved safety and performance outcomes.

Core accountabilities:

  • Maintain currency of appointment and ensure all vendors engaged at site are owned and managed according to the CMF
  • Nominate as Contract/Vendor Owner for any contract partner engagements that fall within allocated work area and complete formal appointment
  • Forecasting, analysis and project planning to ensure optimal outcomes 
  • Advise internal stakeholders on suitable course of action with regards to sourcing, engagement and performance management of contract partners
  • Actively participate in tender process
  • Actively participate in contract renewal and variation processes where required
  • Manage the Contract Execution Plan Cultural Plan and Partnership Routines
  • Coordinate issues, settlement & disputes with Supply & Contract Owners/Superintendents
  • Coordinate any change in contract partner work scopes, including completion of any changes to supporting documentation and processes
  • Identify continuous improvement initiatives to drive process, cost and productivity improvements
  • Time in field conducting audits on contract/vendor safety, performance and compliance

About You

The successful candidate will possess the following:

  • Proficient in MS Office suite, Documentum, Tempo, SharePoint, and SAP/Fiori
  • Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work both independently and part of a team
  • Ability to network across the business to leverage consistency and improve CMF processes
  • Ability to mentor and coach peers and execution teams to create intrinsic motivation for improved outcomes
  • A background or understanding of the maintenance or mining industry is preferred but not essential.
