About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and influential leader for the role of Contracts Superintendent in the BMA Goonyella Riverside Mine team.
Reporting to the Mine Planning Manager, the Contracts Superintendent will ensure safe and efficient provision of contract prestrip services. You will provide direct leadership in the Mine Planning team and support site in achieving the overarching purpose.
About You
The successful candidate will possess the following:
- Previous management and administration of safety, production and cost for large prestrip contracts
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to manage a variety of stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, maintaining between current and future priorities
- Provide in field Auditing of contract partners CMP ensuring compliance to Safety Health Management System both on the surface and underground
- Monitor, support and report on the effective management of the Contractor Management and Training systems against relevant legislation and corporate governance
- Dynamic and inclusive leader with great ability to build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving skills including the ability to identify and recommend improvements
