Job Tasks and Responsibilities

Reporting to Underground Production Superintendent you will be a part of a dynamic and motivated team. The role will require you to:

1. Coordinate daily mine control activities including manning and equipment location and allocation of resources.
2. Provide support and services during emergency response in a safe and effective manner to ensure the mine is managed in accordance with the legal and social responsibilities governing the operation.
3. Monitor, record and audit information from all areas of the Moolarben Underground Operations and communicate information from the mine to the relevant personnel.

Skills and Experience

Essential Criteria:

1. Minimum two (2) years’ experience as a Control Room Operator or similar role.
2. Demonstrated ability to manage several tasks at once.
3. Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and maintain a positive attitude.
4. Strong safety and quality focus.
5. Strong organizational and time management skills
