About The Role
The Mine Operations Controller is responsible for the safe and productive operation of the Autonomous Haulage System through the management and monitoring of autonomous haul truck fleet movement and interactions, in accordance with the Production Plan.
What You’ll Do
- Maintain and optimise safe autonomous mining operations through the identification, communication and management of efficiency opportunities
- Ensure data integrity standards are met through real-time data validation
- Monitor and communicate issues with the virtual mine model to the AHS Supervisor and AHS builder
- Comply with all of Whitehaven’s policies and procedures, and adhere to Whitehaven’s code of conduct and a high level of discipline
What You’ll Bring
- Experience with FMS, AHS and/or Dispatch
- Mine site experience and understanding of safety processes and systems
- An ability to manage competing priorities simultaneously to meet multiple goals
- Have a high level of computer literacy and comfort with technology
