ABOUT THE ROLE 

This role is a Permanent position on a 9-day fortnight roster, at our Boddington Bauxite Mine, which is located a short drive from the community of Boddington (10 minutes), Pinjarra (50 minutes) and the City of Mandurah (1 hour). Relocation assistance to the south-west region will be offered.

As the Capital Execution Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing strong execution leadership and coordination throughout the Execution Phase of Capital Projects, to ensure the safe and efficient delivery of the capital pipeline.

You will provide knowledge and insight into the initial scoping and planning of projects in the Pre-Feasibility and Feasibility stage to ensure that projects are set up for success in the Execution Phase.

Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to: 

• Coordinate the safe and efficient execution of multi-disciplined project work performed by contractors, on a selection of projects within the capital portfolio
• Provide assurance and verification that contractors are effectively identifying and controlling fatal or harmful energies as per company standards and procedures
• Provide assurance and verification that contractors are executing projects according to the approved work design, scope and budget
• Coordinate and collaborate with the area owners and project specialists such that process, or work areas are prepared, isolated and ready for construction activities
• Collaborate with peer Capital Execution Coordinators to ensure contractor resource optimisation & prioritisation across the portfolio of projects in execution phase

ABOUT YOU 

You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following: 

• A sound technical knowledge within the civil construction discipline, systems/materials/work methods;
• Supervisory experience desired (Section 44/Schedule 26)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in SAP operating system (Cost Management, Work Scheduling)
• Demonstrated practical experience coordinating projects;
• Demonstrated practical experience in the construction industry;
• Demonstrated experience in effective contractor management;

Qualifications for this position are: 

• Civil or Construction Trade
