About the role

As the Coordinator for Land & Infrastructure, you will primarily manage IMC’s non-operational landholdings and private property portfolio, as well as the development and compensation processes associated with mine subsidence impacts to private properties and infrastructure within the community. Sitting in the Mining Services Team and reporting to Superintendent Infrastructure Protection, your key accountabilities will include:

  • Manage the relationship with Subsidence Advisory NSW including the management of Subsidence Compensation Claims and the assessment of development activities within the relevant Mine Subsidence Districts
  • Provide specialist advice on improved monitoring techniques as they relate to the assessment of Subsidence Advisory NSW Compensation Claims
  • Management of IMC’s property portfolio of 300+ freehold private properties
  • Lead strategic land acquisitions and divestments
  • Provide engineering support for the Infrastructure Protection Team

About you

  • Engineering, Construction Management or Building qualification (preferred)
  • Knowledge of residential and/or commercial structures
  • Prior experience with mine subsidence would be favourable
  • Strategic Budgeting, planning and negotiation skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate and influence across various levels of the business and with external services agencies, infrastructure owners, regulators, and landowners

Location

This position will be based at Cordeaux Colliery, located approximately 90 kilometres southwest of Sydney.
