About the role
The RSM Wagon Maintenance team are looking for a Coordinator interested in a Job Share opportunity Reporting to the RSM Wagon Maintenance Superintendent.
Key Accountabilities:
Support the execution of both planned and reactive maintenance activities.
Manage critical parts upgrades and ensure timely delivery.
Confirm the availability of required parts for the upcoming scheduled work.
Lead and promote the parts return process to ensure efficiency and compliance.
Process and monitor warranty claims through to resolution.
Accurately book out parts from the warehouse as needed.
Perform spot audits on completed documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Maintain the Daily Yard Status Sheet, providing clear visibility of wagons out of service and ready for operation.
Represent the team at the Daily Performance Meeting in the Superintendent’s absence.
Ensure maintenance metrics are updated prior to the Daily Performance Meeting.
Build and sustain strong working relationships with Rail Operations and P&RL teams, clearly communicating maintenance requirements.
Conduct stocktakes and replenish workshop consumables to maintain operational readiness.

To be successfully considered for this role, you will have:

Solid experience in SAP as well as MS Office tools.
Well-developed stakeholder engagement skills.
Process driven with knowledge on the Work Management Process (identify, plan, schedule, perform, record and analyse)
The ability to communicate effectively, work and interact with others in a dynamic environment.
C Class licence.
Where you’ll be working
You will benefit from the vibrant coastal location working a 3-day on 9-day off or 6-day on 18-day off roster.
Our port facilities consist of four shipping terminals located on the Pilbara coast at Dampier and Cape Lambert, which form an essential part of our logistics process. Each terminal has facilities for train unloading iron ore stockpiling, product blending and ship loading. The position is based out of RSM’s 7-Mile site in Dampier on a 5:2 4:3 roster as a residential option, residing locally in Dampier/Karratha.
